Disney Bowl-a-thon for Junior Achievement March 2-3 (Sat/Sun)

The fun-fueled weekend invites Cast Members, their family, and friends out to a rockin’ good time at participating bowling alleys, where you will bowl in benefit of Junior Achievement of Central Florida (JA). Junior Achievement is an organization that helps to prepare and inspire young people to succeed in our global economy, and with programming for students in kindergarten to high school, JA truly impacts children of all ages. •First, build a team! This is a great way to host a team builder for your area, or invite family and friends out for a rockin’ and a rollin’ good time. Teams need at least 5 people, and can have a maximum of 10. •Register your team on the official Bowl-a-thon website. It costs $30/per person to participate, and all proceeds go directly to Junior Achievement. . This cost can be covered by a just a few sponsorships! You can even have your individual bowler page! •After that, visit disneyvoluntears.com to register as a bowler so you are sure to get your official Disney VoluntEAR hours for participating (Disney Cast only). All Bowl-a-thon VoluntEARs will get two hours of service! •Don’t forget Matching Dollars! Dollar donations by Cast Members are eligible for Disney Matching Dollars! •Watch for your bowling alley and lane assignment information. You will get an email with everything you need to know before the weekend begins. •Teams come out in full-force with their family and friends—with lots of creative team apparel! This year’s event is themed to the 70’s, and we can’t wait to see what themed attire you come up with. (Flower power, anyone?!) •Get ready to boogie—there is no better way to give back to the community then to have fun while doing it. •Bring your dancing shoes, because we suspect some good boogie-worthy tunes will be playing when you hit the lanes!
